Car owners of a south Dublin area have been warned to remain cautious following reports of a man going around deflating tyres.
A number of "SUV-type" vehicles have been allegedly targeted in the last two weeks in the Dublin 6/6W area. The man has also been reportedly leaving notes claiming to be a part of "The Tyre Extinguishers" - a group of activists against "climate change, air pollution, and unsafe drivers," according to their website.
Speaking on a local Facebook page, a resident said: "Warning/notice to anyone with an 'SUV-type' vehicle. This man has been going around the general D6/6W area deflating tyres and often leaving notes.
