Dublin Bus routes heading to west Tallaght were curtailed last night due to anti social behaviour on the same road where a delivery driver was attacked this week.
The 27 and 56a routes were diverted from Cheeverstown Road by Dublin Bus due to the issues. On New Year's Day a delivery driver had his motorbike hijacked and needed medical attention after being assaulted by a feral gang in the area.
Route 27 was diverted to Killinarden via the Tallaght bypass while route 56a was sent via Cookstown Way. It's just the latest in a series of incidents that have impacted on both Dublin Bus drivers and passengers.

Dublin Bus said: "We wish to advise customers that due to anti social behaviour route 27 and 56a will not serve Cheeverstown Road for the rest of tonight. Route 27 will operate via n81 to Killinarden. Route 56a will operate via Cookstown Way. We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused."
