Public transport fares in Dublin and around the country are set to get a big cut in the coming weeks.
From early May, public transport in the Greater Dublin Area, including Dublin Bus and Luas fares, will be slashed by 20% while services outside of Dublin will receive the fare reduction in mid-April.
The measure is part of the Government's plan to reduce the cost of living and was announced by Transport Minister Eamon Ryan in February.
