A building in Dublin was evacuated after a fire ripped through an apartment last night.
The incident happened on Tuesday night in the south city centre. Firefighters from Dolphins Barn, Tara Street, and Phibsborough stations rushed to the scene of the blaze.
The brave crew promptly undertook an evacuation which resulted in no injuries. Members of the emergency service in breathing apparatus also rescued a family pet from the flames.

A DFB spokesperson said: "Last night firefighters from Dolphins Barn, Tara Street and Phibsborough stations responded to an apartment fire in the South city centre. Thanks to a prompt evacuation no injuries were reported and a family pet was taken to safety by firefighters in breathing apparatus."
It was a busy night for DFB as the crew also rescued one person from River Liffey. Water-rescue trained firefighters jumped into action after being alerted to a person in the water near O'Connell Bridge.
