Two Dublin Airport workers were delighted when they were asked to appear in a famous rapper's new music video earlier this week.
On Wednesday, Grammy winner Kendrick Lamar teamed up with Baby Keem as they shared a promo for their new music video for 'The Hillbillies' which was filmed in St Stephen's Green Shopping Centre a few months ago. The shoot, which continued on King Street South, shows them performing the song through the centre.
Eagle-eyed viewers also spotted the rappers greet Dublin Airport's Platinum Service team members Brian and Damien. Taking to social media, Dublin Airport gave a nice shout-out to Brian and Damien, tweeting: "Dublin Airport’s Platinum Service team don’t just deliver top customer service, they star in hit music videos too.

"When @kendricklamar and @BabyKeem came calling recently, the airport’s Damian and Brian were only too happy to oblige." In a follow up video on TikTok, Dublin Airport worker Damien revealed that he and his co-worker got the "surprise of our life" when they met Lamar in the flesh.
Damien said: "We were just waiting at the reception but Lamar literally came through the door full of life, bouncing around the reception, throwing his arms around everyone and just being very nice. We noticed that his crew were recording but there was nothing ever mentioned about a music video or anything.
"I was getting sent messages from everywhere, from people I haven't heard from even in years. My two boys at home are blown away," added Damien.
Kendrick Lamar previously visited Dublin in November 2022, playing for a packed audience in the 3Arena. In the footage filmed at St Stephen's Green shopping centre, there are Christmas decorations which means Lamar likely filmed it the last time he was in the country.
The music video for 'The Hillbillies' is out now, and it's currently doing well in the Irish charts as the number one trending song on YouTube. Kendrick Lamar and Baby Keem's music video featuring Dublin also racked up an impress 2.5 million within a day after its release.
