Dublin Airport is gearing up for one of its busiest weekends with 250,000 passengers expected to travel through the airport.
Thousands of passengers missed their flights last weekend due to massive delays caused by long security queues.
However, the daa unveiled a new plan to improve queueing times over the coming weeks, which includes a new system where access to Terminals will be triaged.

This means that if there are large queues, passengers may have to wait in holding areas in the short term car parks.
Staff from Cork Airport will also be working at the capital's airport to ease the pressure this weekend.
There will be extra staff to ensure passengers with additional needs make their flights in time.
So if you're travelling through Dublin Airport this weekend, this is what you can expect.
Dublin Airport management is confident that there won't be a repeat of last weekend which was attributed to staff shortages.
daa Group Head of Communications Kevin Cullinane told Morning Ireland: "We’ve deployed extra staff. People will see a lot of people with pink high-vis vests or purple ones throughout the airport but particularly in the new drop-off areas.
"OCS, our service provider, provides us that extra assistance for any passenger that needs it. They have a new reception desk.
"They will help anyone who needs extra time, anyone who might need a wheelchair assistance.
"Anyone who have any additional needs, especially our important flyers - people who travel with autism and so forth. They will be helped through the new process and guided."
There’s a segregated lane for going into check-in and drop off and a separate one for security now.
The daa is asking those travelling on long haul flights to come to the airport up to 3.5 hours in advance.
Additionally, short-haul travellers have been advised to arrive up to 2.5 hours early, and those with check-in baggage will have to add an extra hour to their wait time.
