The job posting comes as calls have been made for the management of Dublin Airport to resign after over 1,000 passengers missed their flights due to long security queues at the weekend.
daa Group Head of Communications Kevin Cullinane blamed the long queues on staffing issues.
He told RTE's Morning Ireland: "We’re running with the max of our available staffing levels. We’ve been aggressively trying to recruit an additional 300 security officers to man those security lanes."
The role is a 24/7 shift-based roster, primarily based indoors in the airport but some opportunities may become available over time, to work outdoors at the vehicle checkpoints.
The ideal candidates will have strong customer orientation and excellent interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills and fluent standard of English, and are professional, friendly and helpful in approach.
They are offering a flexible contract of 30-40 hours (you are guaranteed 30 hours but must be available to work 40).
