Due to the huge rise in numbers travelling through Dublin Airport, massive delays at security have been reported.
Dublin Airport now recommends that passengers arrive at the airport up to three and a half hours before their departure time.
The airport has suspended the "expected wait time" feature as passengers continue to experience ongoing delays.
Ryanair boss Boss Michael O'Leary has called for the army to be used at the airport to help manage the "chaotic security delays."
"We are working continuously with new and existing airlines to add exciting destinations to our route network. We are particularly looking forward to welcoming these services to our summer schedule this year and we are also looking forward to welcome passengers back into Dublin as Ireland becomes a popular tourist destination again," Dalton Phillips, Chief Executive Officer of daa, which operates Dublin Airport, said.
