Revenue officers carrying out routine profiling at Dublin Airport have discovered herbal cannabis worth €240,000.
The stash, which weighed 12kgs, came in sealed air cargo that had a label for clothes. It had arrived from the United States and was destined for an address in Dublin.
Investigations are ongoing into the discovery and was part of Revenue's operations targeting the importation of drugs. If businesses, or members of the public, have any information regarding smuggling, they can contact Revenue in confidence on Confidential Phone Number 1800 295 295.
