Dublin Airport has confirmed that no passengers heading through departures have missed their flights as a result of queuing at security, as long as they have heeded recent advice.
Many frustrated passengers have taken to Twitter and other social media platforms claiming to have missed their flights. However, the daa says that throughout the month of June, 93% of passengers were through security in the terminals in less than 45 minutes.
In a statement to the Irish Mirror, a daa spokesperson said: “No passenger who has heeded our travel advice has missed a flight due to queues at security in recent weeks.
