Over €150,000 worth of cannabis was nabbed by Revenue officers at Dublin Airport yesterday as part of "routine operations".
The drugs were found hidden in a box described as "drones" and weighed over 7.8 kgs.
They were in an air cargo consignment coming from the United States with a delivery address in Dublin City Centre.
Separately, last Friday around 10,000 smuggled cigarettes were seized by officers.
The cigarettes were branded 'Rothmans' and had a Ukranian tax stamp.
They were worth around €7,100, representing a potential loss to the Exchequer of more than €5,800.
Officers found the cigarettes after searching checked baggage of a man who had come off a flight from Kyiv, Ukraine.
A Revenue spokesperson said investigations into both seizures are "ongoing".
They said: "These seizures are part of Revenue's ongoing operations targeting the shadow economy and smuggling.
