Passengers travelling out of Dublin Airport this morning were pleasantly surprised by the well-managed queues.
People who arrived several hours before their flights felt they had time to spare thanks to additional measures recently introduced by management.

Flyers were initially taken aback to see a queue outside of the building.
Dublin Airport said that they were managing the number of people allowed into the terminal to make sure that everyone made their flights at time.
They also had 10 security lanes open in Terminal 1 to prevent the massive wait times experienced in recent weeks.
They tweeted: "We are currently managing the flow of passengers into the terminal as part of a carefully planned process with the aim of keeping passengers safe and ultimately making sure passengers make their flights on time. "We have 10 security lanes open in T1 and queues are moving steadily."
Many passengers were pleasantly surprised by the crowd management strategies after fearing the worse.
Here's what they had to say:
"I am now amongst the many thousands that have had the joy of experiencing the phenomenal queues in Dublin Airport . Arrived at 4am and no queue outside. Had fast track but was much slower than the main queue. Through in one hour though. Staff doing a great job."
"Good Morning Dublin Airport. Great staff."
"Half hour to get through Security. Very well managed."
"Arrived at T1 at 5:35am. Ryanair bag dropped at 5:45am. Family assistance lane at security, through by 6:10am. Eating breakfast at La Marquette by 6:30am. Probably the most pleasant experience I've had at Dublin airport. Very busy but moving."
"Never thought I'd have to queue just to get into the airport. Crazy stuff."
"Nice to read the positive posts. My sister got through in 30 mins this morning with fast track, sitting on the plane now for London. Bon voyage!"
