The Dublin Airport operator is recruiting an Administration Stores Operative. The company is hiring an individual with "strong communication skills, the ability to work within a team", and someone who has the ability to prioritise tasks in the order of importance.
The operative will work for the Administration Stores team that is responsible for ordering, administering and delivery across the business of uniforms, cleaning materials, stationery items, staff beverages, and corporate gifts throughout Dublin Airport and including the Dublin Airport mail room. Some of the key responsibilities of the job include:
- Take personal responsibility, on behalf of the team, for the stores/print/mail functions.
- Be flexible in carrying out duties beyond assigned tasks in response to service partners’ needs as they arise.
- Deliver high-quality performance to achieve set targets and specified quality standards and processes.
- Provide assistance as required in the event of an airport emergency or unplanned event including fire safety marshalling.
- Ensure compliance with safe systems and methods of work.
- Ensuring that all stock items are ordered at appropriate times and followed up for delivery.
- Record and account for all outgoing stock.
- Arrange delivery of stock items on request.
