Aer Lingus are looking to take on a new batch of apprentice engineers this summer.
And any aspiring engineers or anyone looking for a career in aviation will be interested by this opportunity.
The four year programme, run in conjunction with SOLAS and TUD, mixes on and off the job training at both Dublin and Shannon Airport with classroom time.

Successful candidates will have to spend 8-10 months in Shannon as part of the course to attend Shannon Aviation School.
Aer Lingus are looking for people with:
- Strong technical and mechanical interest
- A high level of enthusiasm and commitment to the programme for its four-year duration
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
- A proven ability to work on your own initiative while contributing effectively as part of a team
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive professional relationships
Candidates must have finished their Leaving Cert and be at least 18 on September 1 this year.
Successful applicants will also earn an apprentices salary during the course.
