Schubert BMW driver Marco Wittmann picked up where he left off in the last race at the Nürburgring: the two-time champion celebrates his second win of the season on Saturday at the Sachsenring and cuts his deficit in the DTM overall standings to just 14 points.
"I knew we had a good starting position with pole position, but nevertheless it was extremely difficult," Wittmann tells ProSieben. "I know the track is not a track where you can overtake easily. So it was important to run the right strategy, have a good pit stop and basically make no mistakes throughout the race."
