A man has been jailed for causing havoc on a recent Ryanair flight after smuggling alcohol on board.
The three-hour flight took off from Alicante, and after landing in Newcastle police had to take over.
Meredith Gibbons had smuggled his own alcohol onto the flight and when it was confiscated from him, he snuck into the galley to retrieve it and took it into the toilet to drink.
