Drunk Man Utd fans on Ryanair flight sing obscene chants directed at air hostess

A Ryanair stewardess has told how she dealt with a plane full of drunk Manchester United fans who yelled obscene chants at her.

Chloe Harrison was working on a 6pm flight from Manchester to Barcelona on February 15 - the night before the Red Devils played in the city for the Europa League - when she encountered the rowdy group of supporters.

The 25-year-old had warned by her supervisor that there were 'some' United fans on the plane - but was stunned to discover the flight completely "full of men".

After the cabin crew reportedly sold out of all their beer and vodka, the men then began using her name in their chants after overhearing it during flight announcements.

The baffled staff member claims they chanted 'get your t*** out' but also sang 'we love you Chloe, we do' and even 'shoes off if you love Chloe' while each holding one shoe in the air.

But the men ruthlessly mocked her poor colleague, singing 'she serves to the left, she serves to the right, Chloe makes the other flight attendant look like s****e'.

She revealed that some of them even said "come in the toilet with us" and asked her for her Instagram, to which she replied by saying she didn't have an account.

Chloe shared clips of the incident on TikTok, where it has since racked up more than 2.7million views.

But despite many people saying in the comments that the men's behaviour was inappropriate, Chloe said she was mostly unfazed by the attention she received on the two-hour flight.

Chloe, from Audenshaw, Greater Manchester, said: "It made my day go faster, it was fun.

"I've only worked there [at Ryanair] for three months, but when I spoke to everyone they said it's never been like that before apart from maybe in the summer when people are off to a party place like Ibiza.

"I was telling my friend just before that I was looking forward to summer flights and everyone singing and dancing.

"No one was complaining about it. Everyone found it funny, it was just a laugh.

She said that the more lewd chants "didn't really bother" her at all and that the cabin crew could have contacted the police on arrival "but we didn't need that", she added.

One TikTok user commented on the video that "Chloe needs a payrise and danger money", while another said: "I love the fact that you had a laugh and didn't take any of it seriously."

But others were less impressed with what they saw, with one woman commenting: "I can't stress how important it is for us women to stick together against this sort of behaviour. It's not acceptable."

Ryanair has been contacted for comment.
