A dad-of-six turned up at KFC with a samurai sword to buy his kids a meal at 1am.
Martin Williams, 39, had downed six pints of Stella lager when he got a call to say his children were at the fast food restaurant, a court was told.
Once he arrived at the branch in Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent, the dad became involved in a verbal spat with another group, StokeonTrentLive reports.
