Police have appealed for information after an aggravated burglar in Co Down on Monday.
It was reported that three masked men, armed with a suspected handgun, entered a house in the Shanvally Way area of Drumaness sometime between 8.30pm and 9.30pm. The occupants, three adults and two children, were in the house at the time.
A small safe, a purse and a sum of cash was taken by the men who then, it is believed, left the scene on foot through an alleyway leading on to the Newcastle Road. Some of the items taken from the house were later recovered from a bin at Ross Mill Avenue in West Belfast
