Drugs racket: Punjab police starts property forfeiture process of dismissed absconding AIG Raj Jit Singh

CHANDIGARH: Punjab police has started the process of property forfeiture of dismissed absconding Assistant Inspector General (AIG) Raj Jit Singh allegedly involved in drug racket, extortion and anti-national activities, and trying to arrest him. He has been on the run since April 17, the day when he was dismissed from service.

Sharing this information Punjab police headquarters IG Sukhchain Singh Gill said that ADGP RK Jaiswal is investigating the case and various teams have been constituted to arrest Raj Jit whose Look Out Circular(LOC) and non-bailable warrants have already been issued and the proceedings to declare him as proclaimed offender is under process. Gill said that chief minister Bhagwant Mann is himself monitoring Raj Jit’s case and soon he would be arrested.
