Drugs arrest after man seen acting 'suspiciously' outside home

A man has been arrested over drugs and criminal property after police spotted him "acting suspiciously" outside a home.

Over the weekend, officers from Merseyside Police were in Tranmere when they spotted something of concern. A man was reportedly acting suspiciously outside the address.

Following a search, as part of 'Operation Remove', a quantity of cash was recovered. Merseyside Police confirmed that the man was later arrested for being concerned in the Supply of Class A and Possession of Criminal Property.

At a related address two other men were also arrested for Possession with Intent to Supply Class A after a further quantity of cash, suspected cocaine and heroin was recovered. In total, three men from Rock Ferry were arrested by eagle-eyed officers engaged in the operation to crack down on drugs in communities.

Sharing the images on social media, the Wirral policing team said "we will take action" as pictures show a large quantity of cash and drugs were found during the seize.

Anyone with information or concerns about drugs in the community are being urged to contact Merseyside Police on Facebook, Merseyside Police Contact Centre on Twitter or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at https://orlo.uk/6BH6Z.
