AMRITSAR: A consignment of 40 bags of brooms originating from Afghanistan and traversing through Pakistan managed to bypass security checks at the Attari border with Pakistan and arrived at the Integrated Check Post (ICP) .
Unkown to the authorities, the consignment contained approximately 5 kgs of heroin. This security lapse occurred due to the non-operational state of the Full Body Truck Scanner (FBTS) at the ICP.
