A drug dealer was caught on a police dash cam driving like a maniac in unbelievable footage. Zach Trott, 26, led police into the Tesco car park in Salford, appearing to be blocked in by them and some bollards.
However, he managed to squeeze his Mercedes through a gap and led them on a shocking chase. In footage played to Manchester Crown Court, Trott can be seen driving dangerously around residential roads.
He drove the wrong way round two roundabouts and against oncoming traffic, before going through a red light to turn right onto Langworthy Road. He then reached speeds of 70 miles-per-hour in a 30 zone.

Narrowly avoiding smashing into a bus, he then abruptly turned left before weaving his way through narrow residential roads. As other cars pulled to the side, he continued on through another red light before turning right onto Rivington Road.
He then makes a sharp left into Chaseley Road. The police cars emergency lights can be seen flashing in the reflection of shop windows, and the siren can be heard as the officers talk to the dispatch.
The chase finally comes to an end after around five minutes on Bolton Road, with Trott pulling to the right, briefly attempting to drive off, but thinking better of it. Instead, he jumped out of the car and ran, pursued on foot by the officers.
He was caught with a rucksack which contained 300 grams of cannabis split up into smaller deals, estimated to be worth around £3,400. He was also found with £500 in cash and a burner phone, prosecutor Juliet Berry told Manchester Crown Court.
“The defendant was released under investigation whilst the drugs were sent off for analysis,” she said. His Nokia phone was also analysed, in which officers found messages indicating drug dealing and ‘flare messages’ which essentially ‘advertised the drugs for sale’.
Three months later officers were on duty on Worsley Road, in Eccles when they saw Trott driving a Ford Focus, and could smell cannabis coming from the car.
They activated their emergency equipment but he didn’t stop and another pursuit ensued. He was seen driving on the wrong side of the road into oncoming traffic and he went through a red traffic light.
A stinger was deployed, deflating four of his tyres, but he carried on driving until he came to an abrupt stop. After fleeing, he was again caught with a rucksack, and following a search, officers found cannabis and a burner phone. There was a search of the car and drugs were found in that, and there was a search of his house, in which officers found a total of 3688 grams cannabis and £6,086 cash.
Trott was said to have previous convictions for possession of cannabis and supplying the class B drug. Mitigating, Imran Khan said his client was remorseful and knows he disappointed himself and his family.
Trott, of Ellesmere Street, was jailed for two years and four months after pleading guilty to possession with intent to supply class B drugs, possession of criminal property and dangerous driving. He was also banned from driving for five years and 14 months.
