A drug dealer was caught after more than £7,000 worth of heroin and cocaine was found to contain his DNA. Seized phones were also found to contain messages about the sale of Class A drugs.

Tristan Turner, 24, was arrested after his DNA linked him to packages found in a house in Cardiff on December 18, 2020. Police executed a search warrant at Sutherland Court, in Rumney, where they recovered a black bag hidden in a hole in the wall of an airing cupboard.

The bag contained four bags of cocaine weighing 53.3g with a street value between £1,600 and £3,200. Also found was a green bag containing six bags of heroin, weighing 80.8g, with a street value between £2,400 and £4,500.
