A man has been jailed in connection with the supply of drugs into South Sefton.
James Byott, of Eric Street, Widnes, was sentenced to three years and five months in prison at Liverpool Crown Court on Thursday, November 24.. The 28-year-old was arrested in September following the stop and search of a car on Walton Hall Avenue.
Byott was later charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin, concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and possession with intent to supply a controlled Class A drug. Police believe that the drugs were being supplied to the south Sefton area.

Sefton Community Policing Sergeant Kris Allinson said: “This latest sentencing joins a long line of other convictions that we have accomplished which highlights our success in arresting and convicting people on drugs offences.
“We will continue to keep this momentum going and pursue offenders who think they can plague our communities with drugs.
“I would urge anyone who has any information about people they suspect are blighting their neighbourhood by supplying or selling drugs to contact us so we can take action.”
