Drone footage has been released that shows the scale of devastation Russia has unleashed on the Ukrainian city of Mariupol.
Once home to more than 400,000 people, the port on the Sea of Azov at the mouth of the Kalmius river has been under siege for much of the 20-day invasion. It's people have been without food supplies, water, power or heat for more than a week.
Thousands of people have died in the city - with the exact death toll unknown. Petr Andryushchenko, adviser to the city’s mayor, had said the death toll was estimated to be 10,000 - and could rise to 20,000 - but this figure has been dismissed as 'false information' by a media outlet in Ukraine.
