Drogheda United condemn alleged racist abuse of former Linfield player

Drogheda United Linfield Drogheda Ethan Boyle Finn Harps Irish League

Former Linfield defender Ethan Boyle was the victim of alleged racist abuse while playing for Finn Harps at Drogheda United on Friday night.

It is understood Boyle was targeted by an individual who was subsequently removed from the ground and banned from future games.

Drogheda, who won the Premier Division fixture 3-1, moved quickly to condemn the incident while Finn Harps said that “racism has no place in our game”.
