Drogheda United boss Kevin Doherty has hailed departing duo Freddie Draper and Elicha Ahui - after they returned to parent club Lincoln City.
Draper last week picked up the SSE Airtricity/SWI Player of the Month award for May for his goalscoring exploits.
The 19-year-old netted eight times in 22 appearances for the Boynesiders and became the first Drogheda player to win the monthly award since 2014.
Ahui scored once during his time at the club. The right-back scored the winner in United’s shock 1-0 win away to Derry City in April.
Doherty said: “I'd like to thank both players for their outstanding contribution to the club during their time with us.
“I must also thank Jez George, Director of Football and all at Lincoln City for their ongoing cooperation with us.”
