Dublin Fire Brigade have warned drivers about the dangers of surface water on roads following a road traffic collision on Tuesday night.
The crews attended a scene, alongside Gardai and paramedics, when a collision was caused by surface water on the road and blocked a lane on the M1 southbound just before Junction 4 for Donabate as a result.
All traffic restrictions were eventually lifted at around 11.15pm, however, the number and condition of the people involved in the incident are unknown.
A statement on Dublin Fire Brigade's official Twitter account read: "Challenging driving conditions tonight with surface water on our roads.
"Firefighter/paramedics have finished on scene at a road traffic collision on #M1 J4 Southbound. All traffic restrictions have been lifted."
