Drivers have been told record breaking temperatures could see their tyres 'pop' in the heat. The soaring temperatures can cause the air pressure in tyres to increase even if the car is at a standstill.
With just a few extra bars of air pressure in your tyres, serious damage could be caused. In extreme cases, there is the potential for your tyres to pop.
