Drivers warned of long delays as parts of M6 closed for roadworks

M6 Lancaster National Highways

Drivers have been warned of 30-minute delays on parts of the M6 as a major roadworks scheme begins.

Large sections of the southbound carriageway are being resurfaced in the 13-night project starting on Monday, March 14.

It comes as National Highways carries out a £1.5m wear and tear repairs project.
