Drivers are being warned of delays after an accident on M74 motorway slip-road this afternoon.
Traffic Scotland issued an alert to road users just before 1pm concerning the smash, which has taken place between Junction 7 (Larkhall) and Junction 6 (Hamilton).
The alert reads: "Due to a road traffic accident the M74 southbound exit slip at Junction 7 is closed. Motorists are advised to use an alternative route at this time".

Traffic cameras show a police vehicle blocking off the exit slip road as traffic queues back along the motorway.
Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
