Amazingly, there are thousands of Irish drivers who don't realise they can save money with the press of a button.
The useful hack for saving fuel has been taking the internet by storm after a TikTok user explained what to do, and how it saves people money.
Aside from saving you a few bob, the handy tip has also answered many people’s questions about what this lesser-known button even does.

Viewers have been left stunned by the tip after it was posted by TikTok star "Megan's Bubble" - and to make matters more legitimate, the hack is also backed by an AA spokesperson.
@megansbubble shared the trick in a video, with the onscreen caption: "Car tips and tricks. I bet you didn't know what this car button is actually used for."
She then points to the air recirculation button, which uses a car with an arrow inside as its symbol.
And it turns out the button - which several commenters did not know how to use - is very important.
Megan explains: "Essentially what it's going to do for you, it means that you are recirculating the air inside the car.
"So if it's extraordinarily hot inside of your car when you first get in you want to turn this off so that you suck in the outside air.
"If you're sitting in front of other cars where you'll be getting all the exhaust fumes sucked into your car, you use this button so that the air inside your car recirculates and you don't suck in all that bad air."
AA spokesperson, Luke Bosdet also confirmed that not knowing about this little button could actually be driving up your bills.
"If you don’t know what the recirculation button does and have been blasting the air con to try to cool passengers on the back seat, you’ve been missing a trick and paying for it," he said.
It is best to turn the AC off after a few minutes and use the button to keep cool air trapped inside the car.
However, the cheapest way to stay cool while keeping your fuel consumption down is to switch off air conditioning and wind down the windows - when travelling at lower speeds.
But AC might be the best bet for higher speeds, as your car will be more likely to experience drag, causing your car to work harder.
Whichever option you choose, you should be aware air conditioning uses more energy, which is why it impacts your fuel.
But it's not all bad news, as Mr. Bosdet points out: "It is possible on longer trips and faster roads that the air vents will generate enough airflow for the car to remain comfortable after the air con has done its initial job and can be switched off."
