Driver who crashed into boy at bus stop sentenced to two years in detention

A driver who crashed his car into a bus stop, seriously injuring a four-year-old boy, has been sentenced to two years and two months in detention.

James Doherty, 18, who had no driving licence or insurance, purchased the BMW vehicle which had under-inflated rear tyres shortly before the incident.
