A ride-hailing driver posted a touching experience on the "Grab Car Driver Club Thailand" Facebook group, declaring: "I want 10 more jobs like this". The first image showed the journey details - from Huai Khwang to Phra Khanong. The second revealed the adorable passenger: what appeared to be a long-coat Chihuahua.
Fellow drivers flooded the comments section with enthusiasm: "Got lost driving but the passenger didn't complain once," one wrote. "I would love a job like this too," said another. One joked: "That dog would jump and bite your neck clean off, lol."
Several others shared similar experiences. One driver recounted: "I once picked up a passenger with a Chihuahua (the customer notified me beforehand). They asked to sit in front because they worried the dog would get hot. I agreed. The dog kept staring at me during the journey, so I told the customer to try letting it loose to see what it would do. It walked over and lay down on my lap."
However, some warned of the risks: "Transporting pets actually violates the rules. If anything happens, Grab won't take responsibility. But if the driver accepts the risk, that's up to them," one commented.
Grab has launched GrabPet for passengers travelling with pets in Bangkok and surrounding areas.
