A driver using his friends' cars without a licence or insurance had both vehicles seized in the space of just five days. Traffic police pulled over a silver Nissan Micra on Milnthorpe Road in Bolton on Wednesday night (February 1).
The driver failed a breath test and was found to be driving without a licence or insurance, so the car was seized. It then transpired that the same man had been stopped for the exact same offences just five days earlier, on Friday (January 27).
In both instances, Greater Manchester Police said he had failed a breathalyser and was found to be driving the vehicles illegally, due to having no valid driving licence or insurance.

Sharing a picture of the car which had been stopped by officers on Milnthorpe Road, GMP Traffic posted: "This driver was stopped five days ago in friends car. No licence or insurance so car seized. He also failed a breath test.
"Tonight he was in his other friends car and once again failed a breath test. Still no licence or insurance so this car was seized too."
