A grandad is on a one man crusade to get 21,000 “unjust” speeding fines collected by motorists on one stretch of road in a little more than a year, overturned.
Roadwork cameras on one stretch of the A55 dual-carriageway clocked more than 21,000 speeding "violations" in the 13 months after they went live.
Anthony Martindale, a 63-year-old man who was caught speeding on the stretch of road twice, has said he is prepared to go to court to contest his fines - as well as those of other drivers fined on the same stretch.
