Driver only had 10 seconds left to live, but his simple method cheated the grim reaper – and it could save your life

Richard North, a survivor of a brutal 2001 car crash, is sharing the incredible, simple mental technique he used to cheat death. This technique could genuinely save your life during moments of extreme duress. For most people, the immediate reaction would be pure panic, despair, or even anger at the world. But North revealed his unique outlook on TikTok, explaining how he used a radical mental exercise to survive a life-changing accident in the UK.

Back in 2001, North was involved in a massive collision. He hit an oil spill, which caused his vehicle to collide violently with a lamppost. I can’t even imagine the sheer horror of that moment. The impact was devastating; the lamppost sliced right through the car “side on,” shattering his pelvis and smashing the femur bones in both of his legs, according to Unilad.
