A driver of a cloned car was arrested by police in Bolton on Thursday after failing to stop before crashing into a fence at a train station. GMP Bolton shared the news on social media, with a picture of the car after hitting the barrier at Kearsley station, in Radcliffe.
Police announced that the driver had failed to stop after officers noticed the car was a cloned vehicle. A pursuit then took place before the vehicle crashed into the fence at the station.
The driver was arrested for dangerous driving and failing to stop. Police then learned they had been disqualified and had no valid insurance.
The driver will appear in court on Friday morning (September 30). Sharing the image of the silver Volkswagen, police said: "This cloned vehicle failed to stop for #RPU. A pursuit took place before the vehicle crashed into a Railway Station.
"Driver arrested for disqualified driving, no insurance, dangerous driving & failing to stop #charged. Remanded for court in the morning."
