A puppy was injured after being hit by a driver who then fled the scene of the incident in Bristol. Police are now appealing for information and any dashcam footage of the collision that happened on St Philips Causeway at around 11.45am on Wednesday, November 30.
The 11-month old pug called Blue was rushed to the vets after the collision for emergency treatment and he is now recovering at home on medication. According to Avon and Somerset police, the involved car is a small, grey car, and they are pleading for any witnesses with information to come forward.
A police spokesperson said: "We’re appealing for information and any dashcam footage of an incident in which a puppy was hit by a car in Bristol.

"The car involved, described as small and grey, did not stop at the scene following the collision in St Philips Causeway at around 11.45am on Wednesday, November 30.
"Officers took the puppy, an 11-month old pug called Blue, to the vets for emergency treatment and he is now recovering at home on medication.
