A driver has been told he will get points on his licence after allowing an ambulance to pass him.
Frank Wallington, 76, of Walsall, was driving home to the West Midlands after attending the funeral of his cousin in Lincolnshire. However, during the drive he saw an ambulance with flashing blue lights approaching.
Frank pulled over so that the ambulance could pass him on the A52 Grantham Road where it merges onto two lanes. In order to stay out of the way of the ambulance, Frank slowed down as he feared he would have been stuck in front of it on the single lane ahead, causing a delay for the ambulance, Nottinghamshire Live reports.
