A driver has escaped unscathed after a car crashed into a house in Bethnal Green.
Footage on social media shows the blue Model 3 Tesla jammed at a slant into the brickwork and window of a house on Old Ford Road in east London.
The incident is reported to have happened at some point this morning, around 8am.
The car - which has its airbags activated and driver door wide open - appears to have crashed directly into the Victorian townhouse, leaving a gaping hole in the facade.
Luckily, no injuries were reported following the crash. It is understood that there were no casualties at all and London Ambulance Service were not required at the scene.
A police cordon, which was put in place in both directions, has now been lifted.
The circumstances around the crash, which has caused severe damage to both the car and home, remain unclear.
The Metropolitan Police declined to comment as per its new Service Level Statement, which dictates that the force does not provide statements on damage-only incidents.
