A person has died and a primary school-aged child is in a critical condition after a crash in Gippsland in Victoria's east.
Emergency services were called to the accident just before 4pm at Glengarry, near Traralgon.
Victoria Police said the crash involved three cars and seven people.
They said a driver, who has not yet been identified, has died, while a young boy suffered upper body injuries.
He is expected to be airlifted to hospital.
Another man has been taken to Traralgon Hospital in a stable condition.
Police said the cause of the crash is yet to be determined and detectives from the Major Collision Investigation Unit will attend the scene.
