A 54-year-old man has been charged after he crashed a car into a wall at Edinburgh Airport on the morning of Monday October 10.

The aftermath of the incident was shared in a TikTok video which shows a 4x4 jeep visibly damaged with the front bumper crushed against metal barriers. The crash happened at the entrance of the multi-storey car park entrance.

Police say that the incident is not being treated as terror-related and it is not yet known what caused the accident. The driver however was transported by ambulance to a hospital in Edinburgh for treatment on injuries that they sustained.
