Driver Accused of Intentionally Crashing Into Jaguars’ Practice Facility Faces Charges

A 32-year-old woman accused of intentionally crashing into the Jacksonville Jaguars’ practice facility was arrested Monday night, according to News 4 JAX.

The driver reportedly plowed through the gate at Miller Electric Center and crashed into a glass door. Miller Electric Center, which officially opened in July, is located next to the Jaguars’ home field, EverBank Stadium.

“The Miller Electric Center was damaged last night in what we understand to be an isolated incident and, thankfully, none of our staff or security were in that portion of the building,” the Jaguars organization said in a statement issued to News 4 JAX on Tuesday.

“We are currently gathering information. We are mindful that there is an ongoing investigation and will have no further comment.”

The driver is accused of driving under the influence, DUI property damage, aggravated assault on a police officer, resisting arrest and criminal mischief.

The incident took place one day after the Jaguars were eliminated from playoff contention after losing 28–20 to the Tennessee Titans in the regular-season finale.
