A murder charge has been laid following a stabbing in an inner-city suburb that has also been rocked by a separate drive-by shooting that left another man dead.
Police were called to an apartment block at Fitzroy in Melbourne's north about 9.45pm on December 22, where they found a man with stab wounds.
