Scotland has officially entered a heatwave phase, the Met Office has confirmed - thanks to temperatures being higher than average for three consecutive days.
Many of us aren't used to the sweltering heat, which peaked at 30.7C in Dumfries on Monday, June 12.
The soaring temperatures mean it can be difficult to stay cool outside and especially in our homes which are often built to retain the heat. But a steaming hot cup of tea or coffee may actually be just the thing you need to cool down.
