With an assist from Julian Love, Seahawks quarterback Drew Lock saved Seattle’s season by leading the game-winning drive on Monday night against the Eagles as Geno Smith watched from the sidelines, clearly thrilled for his teammate. Some veteran NFL quarterbacks believe in competing against the younger QBs and it’s not their job to coach them up. It’s a good thing that Smith isn’t one of them.
Watch Lock talk about Smith being his biggest cheerleader and encouraging him just before the final drive.
