Drew Barrymore made reference to her hit 1998 film "Ever After" in a sweet reflection from her friend Britney Spears wedding.
The 47-year-old actress took to Instagram on Friday night to share a carousel of pictures from the special star-studded event.
Drew wrote: "What I learned from Ever After is that we must rescue ourselves and yet still want the fairy tale. And that’s exactly what Britney did!
"I couldn’t not be happier for her intrepid journey!!!!!!!"
Drew then went on to shout out her stylist, hair and makeup team and highlighted that she'd opted for a chocolate Valentino couture gown for the day.
The carousel shared included a sweet trio of Drew, Britney and singer Selena Gomez all smiling at the wedding reception with Britney changing from her floor length Donatella Versace wedding gown to a black blazer.
Britney was joined at her wedding with a range of stars, with Drew posting a snapshot and video of Donatella Versace, Paris Hilton, Madonna, Selena Gomez, herself and the bride.
Wrapping up the post Drew shared an outtake video as she attempts to get a 'pretty girl video'.
As the talk show host attempts to capture her look on a rooftop, she says: "I'm trying to do a pretty girl video and just can't stop getting hair in my mouth, okay here we go."
Drew's comments were flooded with joyous comments for Britney's special day and the support she's receiving from her friends.
One fan wrote: "Thank you for being so genuine and supportive to our girl, Britney! She deserves to be surrounded by your positive light."
Another penned: "So good to see all of you sharing this beautiful moment with Britney, she deserves the whole world."
While a third said: "I love the way you all support her and encourage her to shine!! This is beautiful [heart emoji] congratulations, Britney!!!"
Britney's wedding to partner Sam Ashgari comes after the end of her conservatorship.
The 13 year conservatorship left Britney under the tight control of her father Jamie Spears and fellow co-conservators from 2008.
It was initially brought in to protect Britney's wellbeing after a very public breakdown, but the agreement meant that her father had complete control over everything she did from spending money to having more children and getting married.
Britney claimed that the extreme control her father had over her even went so far as to dictate what colour she painted her kitchen cabinets.
Under the strict rules of the conservatorship, Britney revealed she wasn't allowed to get married again which has led to joy and support from her friends and fans as she has now tied the knot with Sam.
It is understood that Britney's parents Lynne Spears, 67, and Jamie Spears, 69, were not in attendance at the wedding, as well as her sister Jamie Lynn Spears, 31, being reported as absent from the event.
