Draymond Green says he still doesn’t like Chris Paul even after he joined the Warriors

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green didn’t hide his feelings about his new teammate, guard Chris Paul, when discussing the two joining forces recently.

Speaking with new Philadelphia 76ers guard Patrick Beverley on the latter’s podcast, Green expressed he still feels the same way about Paul that he did before he joined Green in California with the Warriors this offseason.

“I’ve publicly said I didn’t like Chris [Paul] before, I’m just not going to be like, ‘Oh man that changed now he my teammate,’ No, I look forward to talking amongst men,” Green told Beverley on the show, via ESPN.

Green has firmly established himself as one of the league’s premier villains, and holding onto negative feelings about a new teammate won’t change that reputation.

Perhaps Green and Paul will work things out as they now push for a common goal with the Warriors, but whatever bad feelings there are don’t appear to have gone away just because they’ve teamed up.

To Green, it’s a bit more complicated than that. We’ll see if the two can make amends before the Warriors take the court this fall.
